Announcement of the 3rd consecutive cycle of proposals
The Archaeomaterials Group and the Molecular and Nano Archaeology (MNA) Lab are accepting proposals for anthropologically significant projects in archaeometry at no cost to the user for access to the MNA Lab facilities and expertise for the use of the interfaced system VPSEM-EDS-Raman Spectromicroscopy.
Six Month Proposal Cycle (Projects begin July 2017 and end January 2018).
Begins January 15, 2017 and ends on February 15, 2017.
Responses to proposals are sent via email approximately one month after the submission deadline.
Guidelines for writing your proposal
- Narrative description of the archaeometric project to be pursued
- Justification for the use of the interfaced SEM-EDS-Raman spectromicroscopy system
- Previous scientific accomplishments (publications)
Proposals are limited to three pages or less (including figures). Max file size 2MB. Longer proposals and exceeding 2MB file size will not be considered.
Proposals should be submitted by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. The subject of the email should read “Submission: “Proposal-MNA Lab&Archaeomaterials”
*The lab is unable to fund travel and subsistence related costs.
